Creating a Whistle Page
WhistlePages are quick and easy web pages you can create and send via email to your MyWhistleBox visitors. Each page is made up of formatted sections described below. Designed to be simple, a Whistle Page lets visitors complete multiple document tasks from one link, while helping you create repeatable and standardized workflows.
Intro Paragraphs
Use this section to provide initial instructions for your Page visitors. The title is required and appears at the top under your logo. You can style the text and include links to external documents.
WhistleLinks
WhistleLinks are the heart of a Whistle Page. They allow visitors to upload, sign, or download documents. You can create multiple links, group them into sections, and use labels to describe their purpose.
- Upload Links: Take visitors to your upload page. Multiple links can help organize different document types.
- Signature Links: Take visitors to the signing tool. First, make a file accessible in the Explorer (click the action menu → Include in Whistle Pages). Then select it here.
- Document Links: Let visitors download files, like policies or locked PDFs. Files must be made accessible just like Signature Links.
Closing Paragraphs
Optional text to conclude your page or provide additional instructions.
Email Body
Add default text for the Whistle Page email request. Team plans can include placeholders (in braces) for member info:
- {memberFirst}
- {memberLast}
- {memberTitle}
- {memberEmail}
- {memberPhone}
- {memberAdditional1}
- {memberAdditional2}
- {memberBox}
- {companyLogo}
Additional1 and Additional2 can hold license numbers or other regulatory info.
Access Link
If you want to send your Whistle Page to multiple recipients, generate an Access Link. Copy it into any email and it will remain active for 1 year. Retire it anytime using the Request Log Report.
Branding
Add a logo and customize theme colors after creating the page. The “Use Account Theme” checkbox applies your account’s theme to the page. Using a consistent theme across pages is recommended.
Preview, Test and Email
Click the Preview icon to see how your page will look to visitors. Sending a test Upload Request lets you check all links and formatting before sending to real recipients.
Managing Whistle Pages
Pages can now be deleted, set to Active, or set to Inactive.
- Active Pages: Appear in the Upload Request Whistle Page tab and can be sent to visitors.
- Inactive Pages: Won’t appear in the selection list, but can be reactivated later if needed.
- Deleting Pages: Permanently removes a Whistle Page from your account.
You can also copy an existing Whistle Page to quickly create a new page with the same setup, which is handy for creating multiple variations or templates.
