WhistlePages are quick and easy landing pages that you can create and send to your MyWhistleBox visitors via email. A WhistlePage is comprised of a few formatted sections described below. This WhistlePage creator was designed to be simple and quick to use, yet informative for your visitors. Once you've created a WhistlePage, you will be able to send out a link via the WhistlePages tab of the Explorer Upload Request dialog.
Use this section to describe any initial instructions to your Page visitor. This will be placed directy under the Logo. Enter a title for your page, the title is required. You can also use the styling toolbar to style your text or add links to external documents.
WhistleLinks are a core part of the WhistlePage that allow visitors to upload, sign and download documents. You can create as many WhistleLinks as you'd like and group them together into sections. All WhistleLinks have a label that you can use to describe the purpose or action of the link. You can use WhistleLinks to help organize your visitors.
Upload links will take your visitor to your upload page to upload documents. Even if you only use 1 public Box, having multiple WhistleLinks can help visitors organize their uploaded files.
Signature LinksSignature Links are links that will take your visitor to the signing tool so they can sign a document. When you create a Signature Link, you will enter a Label and choose a signable file. Like the WhistleLink, the Label is what the visitor will see and click on. When the visitor clicks on the link, he will be provided access to the Signing Tool to sign the specified file. Signature Links are great for forms and standardized agreements that you'd like to make available.
Important. Before you can select a signature file from the list, you will first have to make it accessible. This is a simple procedure and is done in the Explorer view. Return to the Explorer and locate your signature file. Remember, signature files are any pdf file. Then click the action menu icon () followed by Include in WhistlePages from the action menu. That command will designate the file for use in WhistlePages (to remove, click "Remove From Whistle Pages"). Then return to this WhistlePage designer and you will see the file in the drop down menu.
Document LinksDocument links can be used when you want the user to download documents from your account. Examples would be policy documents or "locked" pdf's that can't be form filled or signed. The document must be made accessible to the WhistlePage similarly as noted in Signature Links above.
Add any optional closing paragraphs that you'd like to communicate to your visitor.
Add default text to be sent with the WhistlePage Request. This block is the default email body sent with the WhistlePage Request. It can be overriden at the time the request is sent.
Most of the time you will want to send a WhistlePage link through a WhistlePage request via the Upload Request dialog. This is good for sending a single request to a single email. But what if you want to send to many email recipients? Use an Access Link. First generate a link for this Page, then copy the link and paste into an email. The link can be used as many times as you'd like and stay active for 1 year. If you'd like to retire it, you can do so using the Request Log Report or just generate a new link.
With the branding pane, you can add a logo and change the theme colors to match your organization's branding. This pane only appears after a Page has been created. The Use Account Theme checkbox will override this page's theme with the Custom Theme you have set in your Account Settings. If all of your pages have the same theme, it's more convenient to set the theme once in your Account Settings and use it across all pages.
To see how your WhistlePage presents itself, click the Preview icon (). Customizations affect both the WhistlePage as well as the Upload Page. The preview shows both. It's also a good idea to send yourself a test Upload Request so you can see exactly how a recipient will see it. The test request will also give you a chance to test WhistleLinks live and to make any adjustments before you send out to real recipients. To send yourself a test, click the envelope icon .
WhistlePages cannot be deleted at this time but they can be set to Active or Inactive using the Active checkbox. When a WhistlePage is active, it will appear in the Upload Request WhistlePage tab. Although you can't delete unwanted WhistlePages, you can set them to inactive, change their name or reuse them at a later time.
